Ingredients
- 1lb pkg broad egg noodles
- 1/4c butter
- 1tsp vanilla
- 1tsp salt
- 4 eggs, beaten well (or skip one egg and add 1/2pt cottage cheese and 4T sour cream)
- 1 can, crushed pineapple
- 3/4c sugar (LESS if you add fruit)
Instructions
- Cook noodles (al dente) and add butter
- Pour noodles into casserole dish
- In mixing bowl, beat eggs, then and add fruit, vanilla, salt and sugar (if substituting cottage cheese and sour cream, add to bowl)
- Pour bowl contents into casserole dish with noodles and mix well
- Sprinkle top with sugar and cinnamon
- Bake for 1hr at 325º or until brown on top
